Immersive Art Environments
In addition to film and live performance work, Most Monster also specializes in immersive art environments, meant to erode the boundary between performer and audience through a process the team calls "augmented reality," - that is, manipulating the natural world through interactive sculpture, lighting, sound and special effects. This immersive environment enhances the experience of the audience by drawing them into an active engagement with art pieces, rather than the traditional role of passive observer. Most Monster projects have been included in multiple parades and festivals in the New Orleans area.
Most Monster hosts a subkrewe in the Chewbacchus Mardi Gras parade. Above is our 2016 float designed to the theme Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
Most Monster hosted an immersive art camp at the 2015 Ignition Festival. Our camp featured Spiders from Mars and a lounge with a Squid Hookah.
