The Goblin King is a 20' tall interactive puppet first built for the Buku Music & Art Project, a two day festival held at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, LA.

The Goblin King served as the multisensory entryway to Buku's Front Yard. Featuring a punching bag uvula, PVC rigged fog curtain, and a variety of lasers and other nighttime lighting effects, the King symbolically swallowed guests as they entered the festival space. On each side of the King is a handle attached to a pulley system - which guests operated to spin the Goblin's eyes.
